Community Solar Program

Objective​

To harness the power of the Web3 community and bring the vision of building DePIN (Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Networks) together, Arkreen Network has introduced the Community Solar Program, introducing a novel green energy generation node: the Plant Miner. This initiative encourages individuals worldwide who are concerned about climate change to integrate their own solar photovoltaic (PV) power systems into the Arkreen network. Doing so, we can build global renewable energy resources in a DePIN way and develop ReFi applications for public goods.

Two integration modes are supported for Plant Miner so far:

  • Smart Meter hardware mode, suitable for any inverter with AC output power below 40kW.
  • API Acquisition mode, suitable for inverter brands:
    • Enphase
    • Huawei
    • SolarEdge
    • SolaX Power
    • Growatt
    • Solis
    • SMA
    • Fronius

Arkreen covers all delivery expenses; however, in some regions, users may need to manage customs clearance procedures.
API Acquisition$50/per year subscription

From the second year onwards, CSP API Acquisition subscribers have the option to determine whether to renew their subscription. The renewal fee will only cover the API subscription fee, currently $50. Any subsequent price updates will be promptly communicated to you.

ARKREEN COMMUNITY SOLAR PROGRAM APPLICATION FORM

The following information is required:

  • Contact information, such as Email address and Telegram account.
  • Region of the power plant: country/region and city.
  • Photos of solar photovoltaic, inverter’s interface and nameplate etc.
  • Additional information, such as grid connection status, third-party monitoring service etc.

Important:

Individuals sharing personal solar photovoltaic photos must ensure they are authentic and comply with local laws. Images must accurately depict personal assets and adhere to regulations to maintain integrity in the Web3 community.

Shipping, integration and onboarding​

Once you've submitted the CSP form, Arkreen support team will reach out to you via Telegram or Discord to facilitate a seamless onboarding process.

Stake AKRE for your Plant Miner​

You must stake enough AKRE for your Plant Miner, covering the Plant Miner's installed capacity. So far, the staking requirement is 5000 AKRE/kW. For instance, if the capacity of a CSP solar PV system is 5kW, then a minimum of 25000 AKRE must be staked for this Plant Miner.

Only Plant Miners with sufficient staking can issue Remote Miners.

Staked AKRE cannot be unstaked until 1 month after there is no Remote Miner in operation under the Plant Miner.

List Remote Miners in the Arkreen Shop​

Once the staking requirement is fulfilled, Remote Miners based on your solar PV system will be available for sale in 3 batches: 20%, 30%, 30%. For example, for a 5kW solar PV system, the Remote Miners in the 3 batches consist of 20 Remote Miners, 30 Remote Miners, and 30 Remote Miners. The remaining 20% capacity will be reserved as the target for additional Remote Miners.
