There are various ways to participate in Arkreen and earn the AKRE utility token, either on the Supply Side or the Demand Side.

Supply Side: Impact to Earn
On the supply side, Arkreen focuses on digitizing individual green behaviors using IoT solutions. These behaviors include activities such as generating solar power from rooftop installations, storing energy in battery and etc. Once digitized, these actions are structured according to specific methodologies and registered on the blockchain as green assets ART. Arkreen rewards these green behaviors with utility tokens (AKRE).
To participate in Arkreen on the Supply Side, individuals can:
- Buy Remote Miners without having your own solar PV panels, or
- Join the Community Solar Plan (CSP) if you have PV panels.
Demand Side: Play to Impact
On the demand side, individuals can achieve voluntary carbon neutrality by purchasing tokenized green asset ART. By offsetting their carbon footprint on-chain, users contribute to voluntary carbon neutrality. Arkreen rewards these actions with utility tokens (AKRE).
To participate in Arkreen on the Demand, individuals can:
- Join GreenBTC.Club to partake in tasks to offset the historical carbon emissions of the Bitcoin network. See GreenBTC Docs for guideliens.

Staking
To earn additional rewards, users can stake their AKRE. There are 2 staking programs so far, the Simple Staking and the CSP staking.
Simple Staking gets ART rewards by staking AKRE. See Arkreen Simple Staking Guide for guidelines.
CSP Staking gets AKRE rewards by staking AKRE on any CSP Plant Miners. The more green energy a CSP Plant Miner generates, the more rewards the stakers on the CSP Plant Miners can get.
